Product: Pappardelle Pasta
Description: Eight ounces of enriched durum wheat-flour pasta by Trader Joe’s cut into wide, flat ribbons. Contains egg.
Preparation summary: Boil 6 to 7 minutes for al dente; or about 12 to 14 minutes for tender.
High points: A best friend to Bolognese sauce, the noodles offer a sensual mouthfeel no matter how many you cram into your mouth at once. They’re surprisingly lightweight (if cooked beyond al dente), and they’re the next best thing to pasta made on an Italian grandmother’s kitchen table.
Low points: None. If you take issue with these noodles, blame it on the lousy sauce you made.
Price: $1.99
Availability: Trader Joe’s.
I would definitely try these. They scream Bolognese…my favorite!
I agree maybe my favorite product from Traders Joes, been buying them for at least 15 years
