Product: Ben & Jerry’s ‘Netflix & Chill’d’ Ice Cream
Specs: Vermont-based Ben & Jerry’s teamed up with the streaming service, Netflix, to create an ice cream flavor meant to bring you a “chillaxing” experience while planted in front of your TV.
Sold in pint-size quantities, the product combines peanut butter ice cream with sweet-and-salty pretzel swirls and pieces of fudge brownies.
Preparation summary: Ready to eat from the freezer High points: Just when you thought you’ve experienced every divine sweet-n-salty concoction from today’s dessert masters, along comes this most disarming formulation of ingredients, which seem almost ordinary on paper.
Expect a rush of titillating saltiness on the front of your palate followed by a sweet and mellow chocolate-y flavor as the ultra-rich substance melts on your tongue. We found no actual pretzels in the pint but easily tasted them. As for the brownie chunks, they meshed poetically with the peanut butter ice cream in terms of taste and texture. This is decadence to the second power.
Low points: Aside from the payloads of cream and cholesterol and sugar inherent to Ben & Jerry’s high-butterfat ice creams—we can’t think of anything wrong here.
Average retail price: $5.29

I’ll definitely be trying this, but doubtful that it will come near the perfection of B &J’s Cherries Garcia.
